I am Elena. For the past few years I have been volunteering online, more specifically, I have been translating for various organizations. In this way, I learned new things about the field in which I translated materials and I understood more about people with disabilities through my work with Amais Association.
There are many reasons to volunteer. To learn new things. To be more tolerant and open towards vulnerable people. To meet new people. To become more sociable. To practise skills that can be useful in future jobs.
