1. Register on the platform
The first step in accessing the https://euvoluntar.ro/ platform is to create an account, where you will provide information such as your official name, address, registration number, the areas in which you are active and your logo.
2. Account activation
An administrator of the platform will activate your account within 10 days after validating the information provided. Once you receive the notification (by email) that your account is active, you will be able to publish volunteering projects and identify suitable people for a specific type of activity.
3. Starting a volunteering project
Once volunteers apply for a project that you have published on the platform you can contact them (exchange messages via the platform) to get more information or to arrange an interview. After recruiting a volunteer, it is mandatory to sign the documents foreseen in the law, assign a volunteer coordinator and organise an induction session.
4. Evaluation of volunteers
Each organisation has the right to evaluate volunteers whenever it deems it necessary. We recommend monthly feedback sessions and detailed evaluations every 6 months. Within the platform, we have a Volunteer of the Month section where host organisations will be invited to nominate a volunteer and give them an evaluation which will be the basis for the selection of an outstanding volunteer.
5. Completing a project
Closing a project on the platform will be done by each host organisation. You will have a list of active volunteers and will be able to close the projects they are part of and give a final evaluation.
Each volunteer can withdraw from volunteering, with the understanding that it will be their responsibility to notify the host organisations in advance. If volunteers drop out or do not participate in activities you will have the possibility to end their projects on the platform.
